CPR. PREFLEX KEEPS THE FINGER ON THE PULSE.

From July 2017, all power, data and signaling cables for fixed installations in buildings are subject to the European Construction Products Regulations (CPR).

The characteristics of the cables must therefore comply with the new European standard EN50575.

A CPR certification is obtained after successful completion of the test and validation by a certification body. A performance declaration (DoP) is then drawn up and the product is provided with a specific CE label. CPR defined seven Euro classes for cables. The Euro class with which the cable complies is related to its level of fire safety.

From now on, only cables that are CPR approved may be installed. They must also comply with the fire safety class of the specific application project.

With the introduction of the new regulations, our range of cables that comply with the CPR Euro Classes is constantly expanding. Preflex keeps a finger on the pulse and informs you.
